Michelle Knudsen (WFYP, MFA faculty) has seen her acclaimed children’s book Library Lion adapted into a stage production, which ran for several weeks in Boston in January, and was reviewed in The Boston Globe.

Hayley Krischer (Fiction, June 2019) has a forthcoming YA novel You Belong to Me, now available for preorder from Penguin Random House.

Jody Hobbs Hesler (Fiction, June 2017) received the 2025 Independent Press Award in the category of literary fiction for her novel Without You Here.

- The Emory University Creative Writing Program is now accepting applications for its inaugural Screenwriting Fellowship (2025-2027). - Lesley poetry alum Lindsey O’Neill is leading a poetry workshop at Grub Street in South Boston: 6 Weeks, 6 Poems. This class offers the opportunity to broaden and deepen your knowledge of poetry.
