Anika Aldamuy Denise is the author of ten picture books including the Pura Belpré author honor-winning Planting Stories: The Life of Librarian and Storyteller Pura Belpré and A Girl Named Rosita: The Story of Rita Moreno: Actor, Singer, Dancer, Trailblazer!.
