Jennifer LeBlanc (Poetry, June 2012) has two new poems out in the winter 2023 issue of The Main Street Rag. Her poem, “Lunar” is also out on Sparks of Calliope.

Adrian Matejka (Poetry, MFA faculty) in interviewed in Publishers Weekly along with Youssef Daoudi about collaborating on their graphic novel Last on His Feet: Jack Johnson and the Battle of the Century.

Emily Inouye Huey (WFYP, June 2011) received the Golden Kite Award for her YA novel Beneath the Wide Silk Sky.

Eileen Cleary (Poetry, June 2016) received a Pushcart Prize nomination.

Andrea Wang’s (WFYP, June 2011) picture book Magic Ramen: the Story of Momfuku Ando has been published in Chinese.

Sara Levine’s (WFYP, January 2006) picture book A Peek at Beaks: Tools Birds Use is a finalist for the Animal Behavior Society’s Outstanding Children’s Book Award. It was also recognized as a California Reading Association’s Eureka! Gold Award Book. In addition, her picture book Los animales no se dormian (The Animals Would Not Sleep!) has made the list of The Best Children’s Picture Books of the Year in Spanish [2023 edition] from the Bank Street College of Education.

L Scully (Nonfiction, January 2023) has a chapbook 100 I Love Yous, published by Ethel. The chapbook is an excerpt from their upcoming memoir, Fuck Me: A Memoir, forthcoming from Gnashing Teeth Publishing in Spring 2023.
