SUMMARY:A Staged Reading of Eyes Shut. Door Open. by Cassie Seinuk
DESCRIPTION:Gods and monsters don’t need an invitation. Neither do brothers. Eyes Shut. Door Open. is a psychological horror play dressed in the glamour of the New York art scene. TURNER STREET has everything — the paintings\, the opening\, the girl. What he doesn’t have is an exit from his past. Not with Palmer at the door. Not with Johanna’s real agenda sharpening in the dark. And not with the shadow that’s been waiting at the edge of every good thing Turner has ever had. One apartment. One night. One living nightmare. Can you own what you built from someone else’s suffering? \n\n\n\nCassie M. Seinuk (WSS\, June 2013 & Mentor) – PlaywrightChristopher Randolph – DirectorMichael Underhill – TURNEREmma Svitil – JOHANNAGilberto Saenz – PALMERJaine Ye – Stage Direction ReaderPatrick R. SUMMARY:Close Distance Disappearing Acts - Stage Production
DESCRIPTION:Not all RomComs deserve a happily ever after. But this one might just kill for it. \n\n\n\nClose Distance Disappearing Acts is sexy\, funny\, and deliciously dangerous. ANDY is a quirky vigilante on a mission: clearing nerd conventions of “bad bad men.” PETER is the kind of man who shouldn’t exist — unapologetically Irish\, built like a god\, and offering his very specific services on the dark web. She hired him. Somewhere between the blood and the bodies\, it became something else entirely. \n\n\n\nDescribed as Dexter meets When Harry Met Sally\, this suspenseful\, sexy 90-minute two-hander asks the most relatable questions of all: who deserves love — and what do you owe the person who made you who you are? \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCassie M. Seinuk (WSS\, June 2013 & Mentor)\, Playwright and ProducerMichael James Underhill\, Peter and ProducerEmma Svitil\, Andy and ProducerErin Baglole\, Production Stage ManagerKelly Letourneau\, DirectorCaroline Eng\, Sound DesignerSara Hansen\, Lighting Designer
